Data protection
The protection of your personal data is very important to us.
We process your data exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions. They are recorded when you communicate them to us, e.g. via an e-mail or the contact form. The contact data you provide there are used to process your request and, if necessary, for further inquiries. We will not pass these data on without your consent. The processing of the data on the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Data will only be disclosed to government agencies if required by law. Our employees are obliged to maintain confidentiality.
When you visit our website, our IT system automatically collects various information. This includes, for example, name and address as well as non-personal data stored due to technical processes (e.g. IP addresses, access date, operating system).
Cooperation with third-party providers
Our websites contain links to other providers that are visible to you. We have no influence over how these providers of the linked websites handle the information displayed on these pages. If you have any questions about this, please contact the relevant third-party provider directly. We are not responsible for compliance with data protection guidelines or the content of these websites.
FACEBOOK
When you visit our pages, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Facebook. For more information, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign visits to our pages to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
Google Analytics is a website analysis service that uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer. They enable an analysis of how the website is used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We use this website analysis service to analyze user behavior and to optimize both our website and our advertising.
TWITTER
Twitter is a global short message service that collects a large amount of personal data. To participate in the exchange of information using short texts (“tweets”) on this platform, the user must register and thus automatically grant the company the rights to process his personal data (name and username). These written short texts are considered public communication and can be copied and reused by any user. This also applies to photos, videos or links that are associated with the short text. The user has the option of deciding how their data is used by means of settings.
INSTAGRAM
The changes to data protection mainly affect application programming interfaces (API). Such an interface can be used to provide a tool to a third-party program that can be used to connect to the software system. Third-party apps will no longer be able to obtain information about who is following whom; in the future, follower numbers will no longer be available. Applications will no longer be able to request comments – only comments on their own medium. Apps will no longer receive information about likes, and will not be able to add or delete likes. This also applies to likes on your own medium.
Apps will no longer receive information about user profiles via the User Search API. This also includes usernames, profile pictures and the last posts, even if the medium has liked or commented on these pictures. It will also no longer be possible to search for specific users. Queries for APIs that continue to exist are limited to 200 per hour.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. It is not possible to provide seamless protection of data from access by third parties.
